The Tea Party Debate

For those who have just started following me, if there are any of you out there, I no longer call someone with an (R) after their name anything but a Tea Party member, because if you're not in lock-step with them, you can't win their primary. I'm not sure anyone actually won tonight, but I must admit that until Gov. Perry went anti-science, except for Rep. Paul, they seemed thoughtful and presidential. I didn't agree with anything Rep. Paul said, but he at least didn't sound like a nut. His ideas are nutty, but he didn't act like one. He's done if not out, as is Michelle Bachmann, who seemed very provincial, I thought. There was only 1 that had no large error was Romney, but after his Social Security announcement, may never get the votes. Huntsman's error: Not going after the Tea Party when given the chance. He has no chance with them, but in not going after them will never be able to show moderates he'll stand up to them. And, I'm sorry, we already have someone like that. His name: President Obama.
