Speaker Boehner this week has set a vote in the House to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act next week, saying that between 70 and 80 Representatives hadn't had a chance to vote on it.This after saying it was the law of the land. Well Speaker, if that makes sense, then why not let them vote on Medicare D, or Medicare again? I'm sure there are even more that didn't get a vote on either of those bills. But don't stop there. Take a vote on the Civil Rights Act and Social Security. I doubt anyone in Congress now has had a chance to vote for those item. Wait, don't stop there, either. You don't like the EPA, HHS, or Department of Education either, so why not take a vote on them? Like the military but hate the State Department? Oh, that's right, you don't have to take a vote on them. All you have to do in those cases is to either slash funding by at least 50% or stop funding them completely. Then you don't have to show the voters how you really feel. And when security is cut at State so bad that lives are lost, you can blame the President and the Secretary of State.
Speaker Boehner, next week, why stop at taking a vote at repealing The Health Care Act? Oh, that's right, you really aren't. You're defunding every agency you don't like, and refusing to approve President Obama's nominations. Yeah, you're really looking to compromise and expand the base, aren't you?
